Dr. Kate Allan
General Practitioner | Women’s Health Specialist | B.Med.Sci. MBBS. FRACGP
I am a GP who is passionate about sexual and reproductive healthcare. I completed my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2010 and obtained my Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. I have been working in women’s health throughout my career and strive to provide patient centred, compassionate care whilst also empowering and educating patients about their reproductive health.
Living in a regional area, I know how hard it can sometimes be to access excellent quality sexual and reproductive healthcare especially for people who identify as trans or gender diverse. I want you to feel comfortable and safe throughout your healthcare journey especially during appointments that are sensitive in nature.
I have completed the Family Planning National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and I am a member of the Australian Menopause Society.
